Funding Research & Raising Awareness of Invasive Group A Strep Infections
Conor's Fund has been raising money to support research projects aimed at improving the prevention, diagnosis and cure of serious Strep A infections since 2001.
Fund raising has taken many forms over the years, but one thing remains the same - 100% of all donations received go to the research groups we support. No costs are taken out.

Conor's Fund 20th Anniversary 'Bike'
5th-8th June 2023
To commemorate the Fund's 20th anniversary and Conor's 21st birthday, we had planned a major fund raising cycle challenge for 2020. Covid put those plans on hold, but finally we can announce the delayed 20th anniversary fund raiser is:
A 185 mile cycling marathon round the Scottish Highlands, with 12,750 feet of climbing thrown in to ramp up the challenge!
We know times are hard for all right now - but we have set an ambitious target to raise £5K from this milestone event - so please sponsor us if you can. Every pound helps and 100% of your donation will go towards supporting Strep A research.

About Us
Our aim is to raise public awareness of invasive Strep A infections - their causes, symptoms and possible outcomes - whilst raising funds to support research into their prevention, diagnosis and cure.
Conor's Fund provides financial support to the Gram Positive Pathogenesis Research Group at Hammersmith Hospital and Imperial College, one of the few research groups in the UK working to combat Strep infections.
